Verifying an External Account

When you link an account at another bank or credit union through digital banking, we’ll send two small test deposits to that account.

  • These deposits usually arrive in 1–3 business days.
  • Once you see them, log in to Digital Banking and enter the deposit amounts to confirm the account.
  • You’ll have 10 days to complete this step. If the deposits aren’t confirmed in time, you’ll need to start over.
  • By confirming the deposits, you’re verifying you have legal access to the external account.

“We’ve sent two small deposits to verify your account. When they arrive in 1–3 business days, you’ll need to confirm the amounts. You have until [date] to confirm.”
