For 35 years, we've built strong connections with this community, helping our members thrive financially while giving back in meaningful ways. In 2024, along with our Best Credit Union win, our very own Amy Newell earned the title of Best Mortgage Broker/Loan Originator, and Audra Fussell, Business Development Officer, was recognized as a Top 5 Finalist for Best Community Leader. These honors reflect the passion and care our team brings to Lawrence every day.

A Legacy of Community Commitment

Our roots in Lawrence run deep. Since acquiring the Kansas University Credit Union in 1990, we’ve grown alongside this vibrant community, offering trusted financial services while supporting the causes that matter most. We’re proud to stand with local non-profits like Family Promise, United Way of Douglas County, Lawrence Community Health, Bert Nash Mental Health, and many others.

We’ve also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support Lawrence Public Schools, helping local educators and students thrive. In 2024, we became The Official Credit Union of the KU Alumni Association, expanding our reach to KU students—past and present—nationwide.

To serve you better, we’re expanding our physical footprint:

  • Our new Campus Branch at The Crossing at KU is now open.
  • Our East Lawrence Branch at 23rd and Harper will open later this year.
  • Plans are underway to expand further west and north in the years ahead.
