At Truity Credit Union, our top priority is the security and well-being of our members.
We are aware of the Department of Government Efficiency’s recent access to the U.S. Department of the Treasury Fiscal Service’s payments system and understand that this has caused some concern among our members.
At this time, there is no indication that any personal financial or identifying information has been compromised or shared beyond the Treasury or the federal government. We are also not aware of any changes to the system that would affect payments, and we have received repeated assurances that payments related to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid will not be impacted.
As always, Truity remains committed to safeguarding your financial information. Additionally, we want to remind our members that deposits with Truity are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $250,000, providing you with an extra layer of financial protection and peace of mind.
