Tap and Go—Contactless Cards
Spend less time checking out at the store! When your current Truity credit and debit cards expire, the new cards will allow you to make payments at contactless terminals without the need to swipe, dip or insert the card. It’s a faster and cleaner way to pay!
Truity credit and debit cards mailed are contactless. This includes new cards as well as reissued cards. Instant-issue debit cards are now contactless as well.
What do you need to know?

- This is the contactless symbol located to the right of the EMV chip on the card . A matching symbol is displayed on contactless payment terminals. The cards include EMV chips and mag stripes and can be used at any kind of terminal. Most of the time, just tap and go; occasionally, a merchant will require a PIN or signature.
- About 80% of merchants accept contactless payments and the number is growing rapidly.
- If you would like a new card before yours expires, the new card will have a new CCV and expiration date so any automatic payments will need to be updated. The first replacement card is free; additional replacements are $10 each.
