Truity’s Update Regarding Target Stores Data Breach
January 8, 2014: Status update to the data breach Target stores experienced during the period November 27 through December 15, 2013 as it relates to Truity Credit Union members.
 
We are not experiencing a higher call volume or an increase in reported instances of fraud.
The security of your information remains a priority for us and we, along with our VISA® Fraud Control managers, immediately took steps to increase the 24/7 monitoring of your Truity debit & credit cards for suspicious activity. We receive daily information on the ongoing investigation of this data breach. If your account is identified as being among those included in the information obtained in the breach, you will be contacted directly.
 
Our security measures are in place to keep your information secure while minimizing any inconvenience to you. We are more effective addressing fraud situations when we work together. It is always a good practice to monitor your card activity; review your account statements carefully and promptly report any questionable transactions.
